First Minister and SNP leader, Alex Salmond, has welcomed the endorsement of one of Scotland’s leading entrepreneurs, Jim McColl, in a Sunday newspaper where he also put the case for the Scottish Parliament acquiring the powers of financial responsibility to give Scotland’s young people the opportunities to make the best of their lives.

Mr McColl also endorses Alex Salmond for running a competent government and says he deserves a second term in office as we need strong leadership in these turbulent times.

Commenting, Mr Salmond said:  “I welcome this personal endorsement from Jim McColl, one of the outstanding business figures of his generation. He has ambition for Scotland, and a passionate commitment to maximising growth, opportunity and employment in the Scottish economy – and knows that we need the economic and financial tools to do the job.”{jcomments on}
