Footballing legend Eusebio dies


Portugese footballer Eusebio has died at the age of 71.  Early reports say the former Benfica striker died of a heart attack in the early hours of Sunday morning.

He was named the European footballer of the year in 1965 after winning the European Cup with Benfica in 1962.

Eusebio led Portugal to third place in the 1966 World Cup where he was the tournament’s top scorer with nine goals.
