Newsnet Scotland would like to announce the arrival of our new online store.

Operating in partnership with Scottish based charity ‘Cornerstone’ our store will offer readers of Newsnet Scotland the opportunity to purchase a variety of items, each bearing the Newsnet Scotland brand logo.

Initially we will offer seven items for purchase, but we hope to increase this significantly over the coming weeks.

Funds generated through sales will go towards the maintenance of this site as well as helping raise cash for one of Scotland’s most respected charities.  All of our merchandise will be supplied by the charities social firm, Woodview, which provides employment and training opportunities for people with disabilities.

Cornerstone provides care and support services for adults, young people and children across Scotland who live with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health problems and other support needs.

Since 1980, it has grown to become one of Scotland’s leading social care providers supporting over 1,500 people each year, and employing over 1,600 staff.  Cornerstone delivers services in 20 local authority areas throughout Scotland.

So, if you value the site and wish to contribute a small amount to an even more worthy cause then hop on over to the store and grab yourself a piece of Newsnet Scotland and let others know we are here.
