Syria has denied claims that at least one mass grave has been found in the southern city of Deraa.
The interior ministry said the reports were “completely untrue” and formed part of a “campaign of incitement”.
Reuters news agency had been told by residents that villagers had pulled 13 bodies, including those of a woman and child from a single grave after recent demonstrations.
The reports are unable to be immediately verified and foreign journalists have been blocked from entering Syria.
