The UK government have expelled two more Libyan diplomats due to “unacceptable” behaviour.
Foreign Secretary William Hague said the Libyan diplomats along with their families have one week to leave the country.
In a statement, the Foreign Secretary said: “I ordered the expulsion of the two diplomats on the basis that their activities were contrary to the interests of the UK.
“I judged that the behaviour of these individuals had become unacceptable, and that they should therefore be declared persona non grata.”
There have now been three Libyan diplomats asked to leave the UK since May 1.
Mr Hague is currently in Rome taking part in a meeting over the Libya crisis under Muammar Gaddafi’s regime.
