The Puerto Rico Open is a second-tier event and therefore is an ideal opportunity for the lesser lights on the Tour to chalk up a win. Jerry Kelly, the favourite, has been in decent form recently and there’s also a couple of Major winners in the field (Stewart Cink and Angel Cabrera).
I think Kevin Stadler (son of the ‘Walrus’, Craig Stadler) could come good in this tournament at rewarding odds of 33/1.
He has shown he has the ability to shoot low scores but will need to improve his ‘in contention’ scoring as he blew a great opportunity a fortnight ago in the Mayakoba Classic when he followed his 68-66 start with a 71-83 finish to tumble down the leaderboard.
He is worth another chance here to atone.

The Cadillac Championship at Doral, Miami, features all the top 50 players on the World Rankings List and there is sure to be a birdie-fest.
It is no easy feat picking the winner of this event due to the strength in depth of the field.
Matt Kuchar, who is very consistent without actually converting that consistency into victory, might be worth a bet at the odds of 25/1.
Kuchar rates highly on the stats for driving accuracy, putting and the all-around rankings and must surely win soon.
