The comments relating to online debate dismisses claims that pro-Union online commentators are as guilty of posting offensive messages as their pro-independence counterparts. At no point does anyone put the case on behalf of those being vilified.
In some cases the constitutional leanings of the contributor is not made clear and the licence payer is left with the impression that most are objective analysts.
The only way to fight this manipulation of the news agenda is to come to Glasgow on Saturday May 18th and join the march for balanced broadcasting. We understand guest speakers at the rally will include the head of the NUJ in Scotland Mr Paul Holleran as well as speakers from the Reid Foundation, Labour for Independence and Mr Tommy Sheridan – other speakers to be confirmed.
