Episode 15: On the cusp of change ?

Two leading Yes activists share their views on the campaign, where it’s going and what might happen next. Human rights’ activist Andrew Anderson and radical journalist Adam Ramsay tell Derek Bateman why they believe Scotland should be an independent country. And in a week where the polls reversed and Westminster seems to have lost its marbles, we consider whether Scotland is actually on the cusp of change…

Andrew Anderson is deputy director of Frontline Defenders, a third-sector organisation which works to protect human rights workers and organisations worldwide. He has particular expertise on human rights in the Middle East, and was a keen observer of the ‘Arab Spring’ that enveloped so many nations across north Africa, the Levant and the Gulf.

Adam Ramsay, co-editor of OurKingdom (part of openDemocracy.net), has been contributing a rolling blog to the site since the referendum campaign started really heating up. He offers his analysis of the British Establishment and why it has been so slow to react to real political events in Scotland.
