Observer columnist Kevin McKenna returned to the Bateman studios on Referendum Day to consider the implications of a Yes or No vote, in conversation with Derek Bateman.
Kevin, formerly deputy editor of the Herald and a senior executive at the Scottish Daily Mail, is a long-standing Labour supporter who switched to supporting Yes during the referendum campaign.
Here he offers a trenchant analysis of Labour’s position in Scotland since losing power in 2007 and Gordon Brown’s ousting as Prime Minister three years later. He believes that whatever the result on Friday morning, Scottish politics has changed forever.
Tune in to Bateman Broadcasting again on Friday, when we plan to bring you reaction to the all-important poll result.
